The Chamber is a legislative advocate on behalf of businesses in the Houston Metropolitan area. It serves as a conduit to inform business members on issues, legislation and activities on local, state and national levels that impact businesses.
The Chamber works closely with the City of Houston Economic Development Team to inform Chamber members on business activities and opportunities in the area. Monthly partnership meeting are held to educate, inform and communicate the community’s efforts for positive business growth and retention.

Membership investments are on a yearly basis, and renewed on the anniversary date. Membership is paid in advance, and can be paid by check, cash or credit card.
The Houston Metropolitan Chamber is a 501 (c) 6 non-profit organization. Dues are deductible as a regular business expense.
